EMINENCE ROSEHIP TONIQUE REVIEW

When I was living in New-York, I’ve been ordering and using a lot of Eminence products as I couldn’t find good brands without chemicals and parabens.

The brand has a large range of products, all with super yummy textures and scents.

I have brought with me a rosehip tonic. They say you can spray it as much as you want during the day but I spray it on mornings and sometimes at night after I washed my face with some gentle soap. The spray format is really nice and it feels good to spray it directly on your face (close your eyes!).It tones the skin and makes it looks a bit fresher and clear. I’m not sure exactly if tonics are mandatory or do so much for your skin so I’ll switching back later to some less expensive ones we have in France, will share later on the blog :)

JOANNA VARGAS FACIALS NEW YORK

A few months ago I discovered the spa of Joanna Vargas, known for high quality skin care in New York, working also with a couple of vip clients.

I realized that I have not been to see an esthetician since years now and that my skin really needed it.

The salon offers a multitude of treatments for the face and the body and also offers led therapy treatment.

I first tested the facial puryfing, a classic facial, as mentioned on the site "This facial shrinks the pores and refines the texture of the skin, giving a new glow".

Subsequently I bought a package of 4 treatments "triple facial crown » a « combination of microdermabrasion, micro-current and infused oxygen treatment to refine, relieve and tone your skin ».

The results were much more noticeable to me and the skin looks great and firmer for a couple of days/weeks.

She works a lot with her own beauty lines full of great natural ingredients and the great organic beauty line from Eminence.

When my package will be done, i want to try the oxygen purifying one that looks pretty great too.

DIY EXFOLIATING COFFEE SUGAR SCRUB

I recently discovered that coffee grounds can be really good for your skin and i decided to try a DIY exfoliating coffee scrub, enjoying that’s it’s 100% natural.

You can find different scrub recipes and i kept it really simple using sugar and coconut oil.Feel free to add any scents or oil you may like better.
Coffee scrub is great for exfoliating, it helps for reduction of cellulite and improved circulation.
Coconut oil will leave your skin feeling super soft.

What You Need:

1 Tablespoon of Coffee Grounds (I choose used coffee grounds)

1 Tablespoon of Raw Sugar (I used Cane Sugar)

1 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil (I heat it for few seconds if it’s too solid)

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Scrub your body and face and rinse thoroughly.

The recipe is enough for me to use for one time all body and face.

You can use this scrub once or twice a week.

Enjoy!

RAHUA SHAMPOO REVIEW - HAIR TREATMENT

In my constant search of more natural beauty products, i recently discovered and tried the already famous Rahua shampoo. It comes in a nice designed packaging and has a really nice nectar color.
This shampoo has certified-organic ingredients that are free of synthetics, parabens, and sulfates, and includes the Omega 9-rich rahua nut oil .
Their website mentions the follow: "This 100% natural, organic and light-lather shampoo creates and maintains healthy, bouncy and lustrous hair. It works for all hair types and is especially effective for color-treated hair. A natural cleanser derived from coconut oil cleanses gently without removing color pigmentation, while Rahua oil molecules penetrate deep into the hair shaft, strengthening and fortifying weak, damaged strands while regenerating the scalp and hair follicles."
I've been using the shampoo for around a month, and could already see nice results. It leaves my hair moisturized without being greasy or heavy.
I've been having some dry hair ends in the past year due to my frequent bleaching and so far it helped my hair to be healthier and shinier than what it used to be.
Although it' s maybe slightly pricy, i would recommend to give it a try as i think it's a good organic and natural one.
I wish to try more of the brand in the future.
I usually order from beauty.com as i can also order multiply products but you can also get it from their website.

PAI SKINCARE

For those who know me, you know my obsession with ingredients, for both cosmetics and food.

Living in the usa since 3 years gave me the opportunity to become more and more careful about what i eat and what cosmetics to use

I’ve been using different websites and read articles to learn about all the bad or useful ingredients used and found out that most of our creams contains pretty poor ingredients, no matter if it comes from a big brands or it the product is organic.

Last year i discovered PAI products and it looks like it’s all good ingredients.

Made in the UK, you can order their products directly from their website or you can also some other websites that provide most of their products.

I’ve being using the Chamomile and Rosehip Cream, the Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil and the Echium & Argan Gentle Eye Cream.

I’m using a lot of oils as daily face treatment and really felt in love with the roseship one.
It will improve firmness and elasticity, contains a lot of Omegas. Clinical studies show Rosehip is effective at improving the appearance of scars, stretch marks, sun damage and fine lines.

Would love to try more from them.

Go and check their website for more informations, and give it a try!
