SAMURAI PAPA

A few monts ago, Samurai Papa has opened a new location in Brooklyn.

As i always heard that Samurai Mama in Williamsburg was one of the japanese of New York, i was pretty happy to hear that it will open in my neighborhood in Bed Stuy.
You can go and eat at the restaurant but you will have to stand at the bar as the there are no seats.

The menu has a nice selection of traditional meals and i always have the vegetable ramen. Fresh and delicious, it comes with a get a side of dashi broth to dilute the ramen broth when you take away.

SPEEDY ROMEO - YUMMY PIZZZZAS

If you get lucky enough to get a seat as it’s always quite busy, you’ll be lucky to enjoy one of my favorite restaurant in Brooklyn.

Really nice atmosphere for brunch and cosy for dinner, with a cool and friendly staff.

Thin crust delicious pizza, the menu has a bunch of different appetizers and pizzas, have a seat at the bar to enjoy some nice cocktails too.

Don’t be surprised when sometimes speedy romeo becomes some totally different place when the famous Brooklyn series Girls is shooting in the restaurant.

When you wake up late and have a big breakfast, some little easy snack in the early/middle afternoon is appreciated :)

BEP - BROOKLYN

Don’t be confused by the name of the restaurant from the street as the space offers 2 restaurants in one.
When Simple Café serves breakfast and lunch, BEP operates at night and serves healthy and fresh vietnamese cooking.

The menu is focused and offers traditional fresh vietnamese meals from Pho Bo to a nice variety of vermicelli bowls at really reasonable prices.
I personaly often take the veggie one with braised tofu, baby corn and mushrooms.

It’s always a pleasure to stop by and have a nice french chat with An the owner.

Pictures were taken when celebrating my friend’s birthday, could have been much better, so i definitely recommend to go and see!

LITTLENECK OUTPOST - GREENPOINT

As much as i like to go to Greenpoint for a walk on the weekend, i always enjoy a coffee/snack at Littleneck Outpost.

Cosy and bright peaceful space with nice bay window and cute corner of selected food, books and beauty items.

I haven’t tried the food but they offer a large range of sandwiches and little seafood as well.
