A few weeks ago I had to go to Bangalore - India - for work.

Having always wanted to visit that country, I was delighted to go through my work and also enjoy the break with Times Square and the office it was going to get me.

Above all, I had the chance to travel with the airline Emirates. The service and quality was really enjoyable, lots of drinks, snacks and food, seats are spacious and they provide a very wide selection of movies, music and documentaries to watch during the trip.
Not negligible comfort, as the trip takes about 24 hours, counting a stopover in Dubai.

Once in Bangalore, I stayed at the Oberoi hotel, a beautiful hotel with impeccable service.
The garden is like a beautiful jungle and the rooms have small balconies facing the garden and trees.
There are several restaurants within the hotel, Chinese, Thai and continental and rates are very affordable.
The rooms are modern and clean with nice beauty products :)
The hotel has a spa that I've experienced on my last day in the city, and once again an impeccable service.
The spa offers face, body, ayurvedic massages and more at rates starting from around $ 100.
After the hot oil massage, you can finish the treatment with steam room to yourself directly in your cabin.

I had to work every day of the week and visit factories around 1hour from the center and unfortunately did not have the time to visit the city.
I could observed a really crazy traffic where cars sand scooter are sharing the streets, driving in all directions and honking a lot. The landscape that I observed was a mixture of poverty and unexpected situations mixed for other more modern places like this great UB city mall, where you can find many bars, restaurants and shops.

The brochure of the hotel did show other hotels in India and some places look beautiful visit as well.

Paris, Paris i ‘ve missed you!

This month i had to take a short trip to Paris to review my visa and took the opportunity to take a holiday at the same time.
It was already a long since i’ve been there and i had no much plan but enjoy my free time and try to see as much as friends as i could.

Long day walks, i realized how small Paris is and how easy you can cross the city.

Fashion week time with a lot of trendy people around, i had a stop at a designer showroom and had a look at my friend’s collections , Kenta Matsushige and Each x Other.

Paris hasn’t change too much since i left but beside my regular spots, i tried a nice veggie and vegan restaurant - that reminded me some Brooklyn restaurants - Le Bichat where you can enjoy cool and nice heathly meals.

A bientôt !

NASSAU - BAHAMAS

After my trip to the Caribbean last summer, i have been obsessed with this idea of going back.

About only 3 hours from New York, it’s the perfect destination for a short or long vacation.

Not going back to France this christmas, after a few hours trying to find a last minute trip and available hotels in the Caribbean, we finally booked some days off to go to Nassau in the Bahamas.

The flight was really short and the airport is really close to most of the hotels.

We were pleased to see that the resort wasn’t full of tourists despite its big resort size.

We stayed at the Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort and had the good surprise to discover that we booked a all inclusive witch means food and drinks all day for free. (along with some free activities)

The hotel has a couple of different restaurants with a few of them that require reservations. You can eat all you want and enjoy different kind of food from Italian to local seafood.

The beach in front of the resort looked really different from our last experience of Turks and Caicos, smaller with much more seaweed but the hotel has a private island a couple of minutes away, accessible by a boat that departs every hour from the resort.

I spent all my days over there where the beach looks more wild with nice trees and quiet spaces, drinking some cocktails...not to say really cliché!

We overall had a nice stay in the island despite a capricious weather, mostly cloudy and slightly windy.

I really enjoyed the all inclusive formula but would love to go back to Turks and Caicos, my most memorable stay so far.
